Kid Cudi’s MAN ON THE MOON II: THE LEGEND OF MR RAGER
Kid Cudi released my favorite of 2009 last year. Now twice in a row, he has put out my favorite record. This album is a complete departure from his first record. Mainly because its a new story. Its the upsetting and hard second act of the three act film. It tells the story of a man on top who meets a bad influence named Mr. Rager. He must deal with drugs, relationships and his own soul. Its a very depressing album. But, its so full of emotion and heart. I will admit: I cried a little bit when it was over. Its the Empire Strikes Back of hip-hop. The most beautiful album of 2010
