GRIMER / A Color of Money ‘U MAD LOL EP’
Is it sludge-core? Is it anti-folk? Or could it possibly be both? Fresh from Bristol’s indie rock label Planet Eater Records comes the new EP from the emerging bands that have been tearing up the Northeast underground. GRIMER, having just released their first self-titled LP, is hitting the road and doing a cross-country basement tour. A Color of Money is enjoying local fame playing coffee house shows and parking lot jamborees. For this first time, and quite possibly the only time, both put forth two songs from their new albums into a rip-roaring EP enjoyable for everyone.
On Side A, GRIMER plays the layered song titled ‘In Twenty Years the Kids Will Be Like (Yo)’ which doesn’t make much sense outside of the context of the upcoming rock opera album entitled ‘GRIMER2’, but still provides a rock single that is catchy and addictive. Their next song, ‘(Rest in Peace) Radio Raheem (Is a Douche)’, not only blows minds, but it dares to ask the question: Did he do the right thing?
A Color of Money is newly signed to Planet Eater Records, but they’ve broken the mold of what an anti-folk band could be with their avant-garde single ‘(You’re My) Vulpix’. They begin Side B with the powerful Sebadoh cover ‘Whitey Peach’ and the heart-wrenching ‘Tugboat’, made famous by Galaxie 500.
So just click the picture and it will bring you to a digital copy of this one-of-a-kind EP. It is also of importance that you tell your friends. GRIMER and A Color of Money’s popularity depends on your kind word of mouth. Enjoy!

I’ve gone native

does this sound simple?
Fuck you! Are you for sale?
Does ‘Fuck you’ sound simple enough?
