Thats hard. Hhmmm. I think I will go over my favorite parts of the last couple decades. I’m a real big fan of the late 70’s to early 80’s. Where we got bands like Black Flag, Misfits, Minor Threat and Big Black. And then the New Wave of the 80’s with bands like The Smiths and Echo & The Bunnymen. I also really love the early 90’s. Bands like Archers of Loaf, Weezer (Pinkerton), Pavement and classic Smashing Pumpkins. But I cannot deny the awesome re-birth of the noise rock/punk/lo-fi/surf sound of the 00’s. Wavves, Best Coast, No Age and the Flaming Lips’ latest Embryonic. This is cheating I can’t choose. I did my best.
